These terms govern your use of Fifeiros, a web application for running football championships with your friends, available at fifeiros.com and operated by Fifeiros ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a Season Pass or using the service in any way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Fifeiros lets you create championships, log match results, and keep standings, statistics, brackets and a Hall of Fame for your group. The service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to EA Sports, FIFA, or any football club or league whose names or badges may appear in user-created content.
You need an account to run a championship. You must provide a valid email address and you are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Spectator access through an invite code does not create an account and is read only. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
The Season Pass is a one-time purchase of $9.99 that unlocks the paid features of the service for your group. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment is processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.
If you are a consumer in the European Union you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By purchasing the Season Pass you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the content is delivered. If something went wrong with your purchase, contact us and we will sort it out.
The championships, team names, player names and results you enter remain yours. You give us the right to store and display that content so the service can work, including showing it to spectators you invite. Do not enter content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of others. We may remove content that breaks this rule.
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features at any time. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your history.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as limitations of liability, survive it.
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email or inside the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes go to the courts of your place of residence in the EU. For any question about these terms, write to [email protected].
